Iceland Poppy Pin

The Poppy Flower symbolizes sleep, peace, and death, and is an iconic symbol of remembrance. Wear it to embody peace, to commemorate someone you love, or simply because you can never have too many flowers in your life.

The Iceland Poppy is my absolutely favorite varietal with its delightfully crinkly paper-like leaves. The beautiful Poppy flower is the official State flower of California. And while it may be best known for the California Super Bloom that took over social media in 2019, this lovely flower has delicate petals that are tightly crumpled in the bud. The gauzy petals burst from the bud when it blooms and flattens naturally as it searches for sunlight.
